Get fully prepared for white water paddling


The British Canoeing Safety Advisory Panel issues alerts from time to time where they feel specific safety issues need to be communicated to paddlers.


Over the past 12 months, there have been a number of serious incidents on white water around the UK. As everybody looks forward to getting out and enjoying the 2019 paddling season, it is worth reminding yourself of good practice before and after you get on the water, and considering additional safety and rescue training.
