FIND INSTRUCTORS AND TRAINING PROVIDERS

Once you know what qualification or award you'd like to pursue, the next step is to find a training provider. If the award requires registration, make sure you've contacted us to register for the award before you register for any courses.

You may already know a great training provider - or if you're in a club, your club may already work with a training provider or offer some of the awards directly. If you need advice finding a provider, check out the guidance below or contact our Coaching Manager at coaching@canoewales.com.

Not all courses make it onto our website - and some training providers will organise a course or assessment for a time/date/location that you arrange with them if you contact them to organise this. Follow the links below to find a full list of providers for each award. If you need any further assistance or advice, please contact our Coaching Manager at coaching@canoewales.com.

Search on the British Canoeing website

British Canoeing publishes a searchable listing of many of the courses offered in England. If you are unable to find a course in Wales on our events page or by contacting one of our providers, you may wish to see if the course you'd like is being offered through any of the providers in England. If you have to go down this route, please get in touch with our Coaching Manager (coaching@canoewales.com) to let us know as it's very important to us to ensure that there are opportunities to do all of the awards from a training provider in Wales.
