Thousands of people are committed to the development and delivery of paddlesports within Wales and the rest of the UK. British Canoeing is working hard to do more to recognise the dedication and achievement of the many outstanding individuals within the sport. As part of this effort, they are now accepting nominations for the British Canoeing National Honours and Awards.

The three main awards open to members of Canoe Wales are:

  1. UK National Honours
  2. Vice President of British Canoeing
  3. Award of Honour
So if you know a coach, paddler or someone else involved in the sport who you feel should be recognised for outstanding service and commitment over the years, then it’s time to start thinking about examples of how they’ve supported people - perhaps with some photos or anecdotes - so you can put a nomination together.

Simply use the online form to nominate someone before 14 April 2019 (or 12 Dec 2018 for Vice President nominations).
