We need your help to evidence the impact of Health & Wellbeing of their members and increase future funding opportunities within Paddlesport!

Canoe Wales, The National governing body for Paddlesport in Wales is committed to advocating for improved waterways throughout Wales for their members.

The ability to get out on the water for a relaxing paddle, or pass river rapids after a stressful day, provides many people with an escape from everyday life. The benefits of Paddlesport on your health and well-being have long been a reason why many people take up the sport and we want to ensure waterways remain open for generations to come.

The need to fight for investment into Paddlesport in Wales is evident. Investment can support access and facilities; club grants and funding; engagement projects with underrepresented groups; and help demonstrate to schools and youth groups the positive impacts of paddling for young people. If we can demonstrate to funders the broader impact of paddling on people’s health and wellbeing, it will result in more investment into paddling in Wales which will support us all. Positive stats on paddlers or waterways or something that will keep their attention and instill a want to fill this survey in. The survey will demonstrate to funders the broader impact of paddling on people’s health and wellbeing, it will result in more investment into paddling in Wales which will significantly help with future funding opportunities. The TPiD system will provide insights to help make more informed and faster decision-making choices about short and long-term.
