Applications open for Leadership Award Providers

Canoe Wales is looking for a number of Leadership Award Providers in order to deliver the new Leadership Awards from 4 January 2021

We currently have a number of experienced Leadership Providers who deliver British Canoeing Leadership courses. In 2019, more than double the number of learners than in any previous year completed the qualification. As we develop our programme of courses, our need for trained Providers is increasing, and in 2020 we would like to increase the number of Canoe Wales Leadership Providers ready for the launch of the new awards in January 2021.

We welcome applications from women and minority groups as they are under-represented in our provider team.

Being a Leadership Provider is demanding but also very rewarding. You will be directly supporting, mentoring and assessing Leadership candidates who will then go on to introduce paddlers to our sport and give them enjoyable and safe experiences.
