Are you a dedicated SUP paddler, member of the SUP community, a coach or leader?
Do you have the desire to help develop the sport of Stand Up Paddleboarding and feel willing to volunteer your time?
If so, you could help support the National Governing Body of SUP in Wales.
We are very pleased to be opening a number of positions on the Stand Up Paddleboard sub-committee to knowledgeable, experienced and motivated people who would like to support us.
In this role you would be supporting Emily as the Canoe Wales SUP Lead and working alongside the other members of the sub-committee, as we collaboratively work through the areas of SUP governance, safety, and training standards in Wales.
This sub-committee offers the chance for people who are not involved within the governance structure of Canoe Wales to get involved and help further develop SUP and achieve our goals.
We are looking for people who are passionate about making a difference and who can bring a balanced and constructive contribution to discussions. A good knowledge of Stand Up Paddleboarding is a must, as this group will form discussions around key areas of SUP development.
So, if you would like to bring your ideas to the table and collaborate with Emily and the team at Canoe Wales, please consider applying - and we look forward to receiving your application!
Please send a short-written application covering skills, experience, and why you would like to join us by 01/11/23 to emily.evans@canoewales.com.
