Slalom Inspires is coming to the Tryweryn!

Slalom Inspires aims to inspire and empower the girls of canoe slalom by running events all over the UK. After the success of the first Slalom Inspires weekend in 2018 - with 60 female paddlers from around the UK taking part - the organisation is running three more regional events in 2019. And in April, Slalom Inspires will be coming to the Tryweryn!

When?

Saturday 27 April to Sunday 28 April 2019

Where?

National White Water Centre, Canolfan Tryweryn, Frongoch, Bala, LL23 7NU

What?

This will be a weekend of canoeing, inspiration and fun. Over the weekend Slalom Inspires will be delivering:

• 3 coached canoeing sessions per person
• 3 workshops/talks on:
• ---Body Image
• --- Nutrition as a female athlete
• --- An inspiring talk from a female athlete
• Multiple team building activities such as games, orienteering, rafting, canyoning etc (depending on which event)
• Parents solution workshop
  

Each athlete will receive a Slalom Inspires t-shirt and equipment stickers.
