New craft insurance now available

Members can now purchase a £45 craft insurance policy when joining or renewing
From 1 February 2020, Canoe Wales members can purchase craft insurance, provided by Towergate, which includes:
- Cover for up to two craft (canoes, paddleboards and kayaks) up to £2,000 each
- Up to £250 cover for any one paddle
- Theft cover where the canoe is suitably secured
- Accidental damage excluding denting or bruising while in transit
Cost:£45
How to purchase
Craft insurance is only available with On the Water membership and runs in parallel with your membership. So, simply add it when joining or renewing on our online membership system.
If you need cover now and don’t want to wait until your membership renewal, you can buy craft insurance directly from Towergate by calling them on 0344 892 1318 for a quote.
Alternatively, you can renew your membership early and purchase the boat insurance at the same time. You just need to call the Canoe Wales office on 01678 521 199 to arrange this. Please note our office hours are Monday to Friday 10am - 3pm.
