Canoe Wales has an exciting opportunity to join our Performance and Talent Pathway Team in Wales.

Following a detailed review in 2021, we’ve been busy restructuring our performance programme. We’re providing more accessible opportunities for those who would like to be part of our pathway, increasing the sport science support we provide to our athletes and we’re working with a leading sports analytic company and Sport Wales to develop the performance and welfare of those on the programme.

It's a really exciting time to join the team and lead one of the most successful performance programmes in Wales and you will be responsible for implementing our strategy to get more Welsh athletes into GB sprint, slalom and paracanoe programmes.

This is a newly created role that will help to provide excellent coaching for Talent Squad athletes based in the North of Wales. We welcome applicants who want to be a part of our young, dynamic and athlete centred coaching team. If you like to provide highly challenging training sessions and also the high levels of support to the athlete, please apply by completing the application form and covering letter, detailing how you meet the Person Specification

We also strongly encourage women and other people who are underrepresented in paddlesport and performance to apply.
