June brings a couple of fantastic opportunities to join the team at Canoe Wales and help shape the future of paddlesport in Wales! The two roles available are:


Membership & Governance Assistant

You’ll be the first point of contact for our members when joining Canoe Wales, renewing their membership or contacting us for help. You’ll provide excellent customer service as well as supporting the CEO and other staff with governance-related matters such as minutes and policies.


  • Job Type: Permanent part-time
  • Hours: 3 days per week, 7.5 hours per day
  • Salary: £22-23k per annum pro rata
  • Location: NWWC Bala or home working options
  • Start Date: ASAP (negotiable)
  • Closing date: Weds 22 June at 5pm


Communications & Marketing Lead

You will be responsible for all communications and marketing for Canoe Wales and will focus on providing our members with engaging, interesting and informative content through our social media channels, website, magazine and other communication channels. You will also work with paddling brands and retailers to further member benefits and partnerships.


  • Job Type: Permanent part-time
  • Hours: 3 days per week, 7.5 hours per day
  • Salary: £25-30k per annum pro rata
  • Location: Capel Curig or home working options
  • Start Date: ASAP (negotiable)
  • Closing date: Weds 29 June at 5pm
