New Female Coaching Programme launched

We've teamed up with The Outdoor Partnership to encourage and support more females to become coaches

Together with The Outdoor Partnership, Canoe Wales is running a 12 month coaching and mentoring programme for women who want to become coaches. And you don't even need to have previous paddling experience!

This pilot project will initially run in North Wales for four people with the aim of increasing the number of female performance coaches involved in canoe slalom in North Wales.

As part of the programme, participants will work towards NGB qualifications and receive personalised coaching and mentoring to encourage them to reach their full potential as a performance coach.

Please note: applications close at 5pm on 13 September 2019.
