Come to a Paddle Clinic at CIWW (21 May)

Neil Kinnerly • May 12, 2022

Have you ever wondered how the forward paddle stroke works?

For a limited period, Canoe Wales is making available some of our coaching resources normally reserved for Talent Pathway athletes.

If you are serious about your paddling and would like to learn how to make your strokes more efficient, why not come along to one of our Clinics.

We will teach you some of the science and help you to paddle more efficiently working on your core, posture and balance.

Our coaches will spend the morning in the classroom talking about the theory and give you a go on the various bits of kit we use. Then in the afternoon we will put you back in your own boat on the flat water and see how it works for you.

Our first Clinic is on Saturday 21 May at Cardiff International White Water (CIWW).

This is an interactive day so places are limited, but do not worry – if you miss this one, we will run another one soon.

The cost is just a Flat Water Park & Play ticket from CIWW, which is £6, but you will need to check in with our Pathway Officer first.
