Get involved for positive change; become a Citizen Scientist!

The Wye & Usk Foundation are part of an exciting new nationwide project called CaSTCo, which has citizen science at its heart. WUF are looking for volunteers who live between Llandovery and Brecon on the Upper Usk Tributaries* to monitor nutrient levels and water quality in their area.

Castco is about empowering Citizen Scientists to gather data, to help build a picture of what is happening on the Usk and to help influence change and positive outcomes.

WUF will provide all your kit and training so you can go out to your local river, take a water sample, performing the tests, upload your results onto your mobile phone and be home within the hour!

If you want to be empowered to become a Citizen Scientist and volunteer for WUF AND be part of this nationwide project, click the link below, let WUF know your location and then they will be in touch!
