Applications open for Canoe Wales Paddlesport Leader Providers

Updated 7 May 2020: Please note that applications have now closed. Original news article follows below...

We currently have a number of experienced Paddlesport Leader Providers who deliver British Canoeing Paddlesport Leader courses. In 2019, more than double the number of learners than in any previous year completed the qualification. As we develop our programme of courses, our need for trained Providers is increasing, and in 2020 we would like to increase the number of Canoe Wales Paddlesport Leader Providers by 8 to increase the number of providers in our current team located across Wales.

We welcome applications from women and minority groups as they are under-represented in our provider team.

Being a Paddlesport Leader Provider is demanding, but also very rewarding. You will be directly supporting, mentoring and assessing Paddlesport Leader candidates who will then go on to introduce new paddlers to our sport and give them enjoyable and safe experiences.

In the application documents, you will find information on how to apply along with the requirements for the role and an application form.

I wish you good luck for your application.
