£9k funding awarded to North Wales Slalom

Neil Kinnerly • Jan 26, 2022

The North Wales Slalom club has been fortunate to be awarded a grant of £9,036.40 from the Clocaenog Forest Wind Farm (CVSC) fund. This will enable us to purchase much needed slalom boats and equipment for the Mile End Mill (TNR) training site in Llangollen.

This grant will help the club to:

  • Increase its membership
  • See an increase in local youth participation in the Llangollen area
  • Increase the number of volunteer coaches it supports and aid in the development of aspiring coaches
  • Increase overall slalom footfall at the Mile End Mill site in Llangollen

A big thank you to CVSC for awarding us the grant.
