Afon Caerfarell Nearby Rivers: Newport and Brecon Area - Usk Catchment

That said, if the water is brown and the rocks covered, start at the bridge about four kilometres above Talybont reservoir GR063170. The water is fine and fast enough but I found the fences a nuisance. Three portages were required at time of writing. Deer fences cannot be sneaked under. Take out at the reservoir GR089178. and head down to the Star in the village for some sustenance. |
