Top club award

Top Club awards are a recognition of the work your club does to get people out on the water. Often useful for attracting funding, they work by looking at your club’s structure and framework. There are three different awards in the Top Club scheme:

Most clubs aim for the Top Community Club, which is specifically geared for clubs with a mainly recreational interest.

Competitive clubs concentrate on the Top Performance Award, which concentrates on competition interests.

And any club can aim for the Active Club award. It's an interim award which shows you're three quarters of the way to meeting the Top Club criteria. It's useful because it gives you credit for the work you've already put in, as well as helping you discover the ways you need to improve.
