Canoe Wales is the national governing body for paddle sport in Wales. We:

  • Manage the National White Water Centre which is located on the river Tryweryn in Bala, North Wales
  • Represent the interests of our club and individual members
  • Advocate on behalf of the interests of the sport in Wales
  • Provide coaching and development programmes from local to international level

Win Tickets for Cardiff’s World Cup Canoe Slalom in June with Doodson Sport


 
Cardiff is hosting a World Cup Canoe Slalom event at Cardiff International White Water between the 8th and 10th June 2012. This major world class event will host 145 of the world’s best athletes which will be drawn from 38 nations.


Leading Insurance Specialist, Doodson Sport, is sponsoring the event and is providing 5 pairs of family day tickets to be won.

  • The tickets allow access to see the world’s best take on team GB’s selected Olympians at Cardiff for one of the days of the competition.
  • The lucky winners will be able to choose which day of the event they wish to attend. 
  • Family passes consist of either 2 adult and 2 child passes; or 1 adult and 3 child’s passes.

Grandstand Seating
Grandstands will be erected on Watkiss Way for spectators - Seating will be available on an opportunity basis.  There will be no seat reservations within the 'Public Grandstand Areas'.  There will be designated areas for disabled/wheelchair viewing
 
This is an outdoor event, please come prepared for the forecasted weather conditions, if the event is postponed/delayed due to bad weather or other occurrences outside of our control; refunds will not be entered into

Canoe Cardiff 2012
Cardiff International White Water (CIWW) is hosting the International Canoe Federation Canoe Slalom World Cup from 8 - 10 June 2012. Professional paddlers from across the globe will ride a 300m rapid, in an adrenalin fuelled race of speed and skill.
Only the best can tackle the tides, dodge the obstacles, and speed through up to 25 gates in a race against the clock... It's no surprise that many of these world class teams will also be competing in the Olympics.
