Which membership do I need?

Coaches and competitors join as comprehensive members, which lets them hold coaching qualifications and compete in ranking competitions. Most other paddlers join as basic members (which gives you third party liability insurance) or supporter members. Only paddlers who live in Wales can join as comprehensive or basic members.

What if I live in England?

You can still join as a supporting members. If you want the benefits of full federal membership, you'll need to join the British Canoeing Union instead - http://www.bcu.org.uk or phone 0845 370 9500.
