Leader Registration

Before you can attend a 4 star leader or 5 star leader assessment, you must register with Canoe Wales using the Leader Registration Form (LR Form). You need to complete an LR form for every separate 4 star leader or 5 star leader assessment you wish to attend.

When sending in the form, you will be required to provide the following:
  • proof of any prerequisites for the award for which you are registering (photocopies are acceptable)
  • payment of the registration fee (£10 for BCU / Canoe Wales members or £20 for non-members - cheques should be made payable to Canoe Wales)
On receipt of your form, we will check that you have the prerequisites and have paid the registration fee appropriate for your level of membership. Once we are satisfied, we will stamp your form and return it to you. You should keep your stamped LR forms in your logbook and take it to your assessment course, along with original copies of all relevant certificates and proof of membership, if appropriate.

You will not be able to attend the course without a processed LR form.
Your processed LR form is valid for 12 months.

Please note: you should allow at least 2 weeks for your LR form to be processed.
