Your supporter's membership goes to support the work we do promoting and encouraging paddlesport in Wales

  • We promote paddlers’ interests in Wales. That includes representation on statutory panels, steering groups and expedition grant panels.
  • We’re recognized by the Welsh Assembly as the go-to experts on paddlesport.
  • We run the National White Water Centre on the river Tryweryn in Bala, managing the river to give free paddling on Wales’ most reliable grade 2/3/4 rapids.
  • We lobby for paddlers’ interests during engineering work on dams, weirs and fish passes in Wales.
  • We run the annual Outdoor Action show in Cardiff bay to promote and encourage paddlesport.
  • We run a schools scheme to promote paddling to young people in Wales.
  • We support and advise the Welsh canoe club network and help them find grants and funding.
