Fit to Paddle

Conditioning your body to cope with paddling regularly is a sensible thing to do.

If you're trying to progress, training will help prevent injury, allow you to stay on the water longer and most importantly enjoy your paddling more.

In Ceufad, our magazine we produced a series on Fit to Paddle, Pete Catterall (Head of Paddlesport at Plas y Brenin) kindly produced this series for us. Pete has been paddling for a few decades, paddled all over the world, been involved with the GBR freestyle team and chases poles himself as a Premier division slalom paddler.

Here are a few tasters to get you started.
