Regional Coach Updates and Panel Meetings
Canoe Wales is split into three regions: North, South-East and South-West. In each of these regions, we have a Regional Coaching Officer, a voluntary position (voted in by the membership) who's role it is to ensure that any issues you as coaches are having are taken to the relevant people in our organisation while keeping you informed of all of the latest developments within Canoe Wales and the BCU. To do this they hold regular coaching forums (meetings) at suitable venues within their region - to find out about when and where these are happening, email your RCO on the relevant email address below.

The RCOs are also
responsible for organising our regional update weekends, which happen about once
every 4 - 6 months for each region. These weekends are a great way for you to get together with a range of coaches, attend some subsidised courses and get up to date on all the latest coaching news. On top of all that, attendance at an update weekend will
revalidate your coaching qualifications for a further 3 years.
