Helping other people to enjoy canoeing or kayaking can be extremely rewarding and this section of the website is all about helping you to do just that. Whether you are new to the sport and new to coaching or leading or an experienced coach working in advanced conditions, we hope we can help you to find any information you need.

Canoe Wales is Wales' National Governing Body of paddlesport, which is a part of the UK's umbrella governing body, British Canoing (BC). BC are currently reviewing the coaching system to improve the experience of all paddlers and those who support them. Canoe Wales is a delivery centre for the BC awards are in charge of operating the awards within Wales. This section should explain all you need to know about getting involved in coaching paddlesports within Wales. 


The Club Activity Assistant is an exciting new British Canoeing role aimed at supporting club and volunteer workforces. It is targeted towards volunteers within clubs and has been designed to help support and develop the range of activities a club offers.
