Like the Teigl it is hard to recommend this short section of river, especially so as it drops through an SSSI. If you want this grade of paddling check out the Goedal, Gamlan, Mynach or Lower Prysor - they are far better quality and equally as testing.
Brithdir to Wnion
1.5 km V to VI; various portages
From Brithdir bridge GR762179 the river drops increasingly steeply down a myriad of twists and drops - many with shallow and pinning-type landings. Trees or common sense may suggest the odd portage. Egress at the small road bridge before the Wnion confluence GR753188. My memories of this river are a long, arduous and not very worthwhile day! Be warned.
