National Performance Manager

Canoe Wales is seeking an experienced manager to provide inspirational leadership to the Canoe Wales performance programme for Slalom, Sprint and Paracanoe.

Key information

Job Title: National Performance Manager

Responsible to: General Manager

Location: Wales, with option for agreed home working.

Salary: £32,000 – 36,000 per annum pro rata, 17.5 – 21.5 hours per week (negotiable), with possibility of a full-time, combined post (see below).

Full time, combined post option: This post is available as a full-time role in combination with the advertised post of National Performance Coach (Canoe Slalom) for candidates who meet the requirements of both posts. When applying, please indicate if you would like to apply for the role as a combination post. The final salary range would be negotiable.

Contract Period: Fixed term until the 31st March 2019 subject to Sport Wales funding (reviewed on an annual basis) and with possibility of extension.

The closing date for applications is 6 October 2017. Interviews will be held on 19 October 2017 in Cardiff.

Please note a reserve list will be held for 1 year from the date of interview.

National Performance Coach (Canoe Slalom)

We are also currently seeking a National Performance Coach to provide elite level coaching and training support for our National slalom programme athletes.

Job Title: National Performance Coach (Canoe slalom)

Responsible to: National Performance Manager

Location: Wales and camps in UK and Europe, with option for agreed home working.

Salary: £22,500 - £24,500 per annum pro rata, 22.5 – 26 hours per week (negotiable), with possibility of a full-time, combined post (see below).

Full time, combined post option: This post is available as a full-time role in combination with the advertised post of National Performance Manager for candidates who meet the requirements of both posts. When applying, please indicate if you would like to apply for the role as a combination post. The final salary range would be negotiable.
